Homework Statement

Our Homework statement is currently being reviewed and will be posted on the site when it has been ratified by the Governing body.

The following guidance is aimed at parents and carers who wish to enrich their child's / children's learning by looking at the topics from a different angle or in greater detail or who simply want to know what their child/children are learning at any given time in the year.

In Literacy and Maths this will depend on their group and individual targets. The Medium Term plans below display the work going on in the foundation subjects, ICT and Science. There is more information about the organisation of Literacy and Maths on our Curriculum pages.

Medium Term Tracking Planners

For each half term the topics are outlined and the teachers for each yeargroup have worked together to plan the learning experiences for each group. They produced a half termly planning tracker (see below). There are  references to   QCA schemes of work for some topics in the column on the left. The QCA site  will show you what the Learning Intentions are and give more information on the make up of each unit.
