Nursery Admissions
Please complete the nursery admissions form and send it to cgreen@millfields.hackney.sch.uk along with:
- a copy of the child's passport and birth certificate
- proof of address
- red book (the first page with NHS number and immunisation pages- we can make a copy for you during office hours 8:30am-4pm)
- supporting documents if they have special educational needs
- supporting documents if they have a medical condition/allergies
Full time hours are Monday-Thursday 8:40am-3:20pm and Fridays until 2.15pm. Lunch costs £2.50 per day unless you are on low income and meet the criteria for free school meals (click the link for information/how to apply https://education.hackney.gov.uk/content/apply-free-school-meals)
You may also be eligible for 30 hours free childcare: Click the link to apply (6 weeks before your child turns 3 years old) to obtain your 11 digit eligibility code:https://www.gov.uk/apply-30-hours-free-childcare.
Part time hours are 8:40am-12pm (lunch not included), we still ask parents on low income to apply for Early years pupil premium/free school meals even if they do not have lunch at school as the school receives extra funding for resources for your child. Breakfast club is from 7:30am (£2.50 per day)
Afterschool club until 5pm (£7.50 per day) or 6pm (£12.50 per day).
These are bookable via scopay (schools online payment system) once your child has started their first day.
We use the Hackney admission criteria giving priority to pupils with siblings, with special educational needs, looked after children and pupils who live close to the school. We will be contacting parents in May, if your child has secured a nursery place.
